"Precision, Power, and Stability: Revolutionizing Horseshoe Shaping with Unmatched Accuracy!"

Low Rebound: The device minimizes bounce, channeling the energy from each strike directly into the horseshoe material, resulting in smoother, more controlled shaping with less effort.

Accuracy: Engineered with anatomically precise radii and curvatures tailored to equine needs, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal performance with every horseshoe.

Stability: The unique rebound-suppressing support base enhances stability, delivering consistent, high-precision shaping for superior horseshoe modifications that outpace current market options.

History & Background

Traditional portable horseshoe-altering devices typically consist of a solid block of metal (anvil) with grooves or holes where the horseshoe is placed to create a fulcrum. The farrier then strikes the protruding end of the horseshoe to create a bend, hoping for a precise result.

However, these designs inherently suffer from high rebound. When a steel block is mounted on three steel legs and struck with a hammer (or when a horseshoe is placed on the block and hammered), the rebound varies depending on the surface it’s placed on. Hard surfaces like concrete or cobblestones produce more rebound, which can cause fatigue and transfer harmful vibrations into the user's hands and arms. The ricocheting effect can also be dangerous, as the concussive force of the hammer can be misdirected by an unstable target.

Additionally, working with steel or aluminum, which are difficult to shape when bouncing, exacerbates the problem. Aluminum, in particular, requires higher degrees of temper and rigidity for its intended use in horseshoes, making it even harder to alter its shape for more extreme configurations needed in commercial farriery.

The Stable Jack addresses these issues by incorporating low rebound technology into its base, redirecting the kinetic energy of each hammer blow into positive material shaping. The device features a unique combination of dead-blow characteristics and resonance suppression, ensuring that high rebound and trampoline-like effects are minimized. This allows for precise, controlled, and highly accurate contour altering, even in the most demanding farrier applications.

Functionality & Attributes

Stability

The Stable Jack stays firmly in place, reducing movement, vibration, and rebound for a quieter, more controlled horseshoe alteration process.

Precise Fulcrum & Radius Management

Its built-in arcs and contours replicate the natural hoof shape, enabling precise workpiece placement and accurate modification with the unique Turning Cams and contoured fulcrums.

Enhanced Workpiece Management

The symmetrical design prevents shifting during use, while anchoring slots and grooves accommodate various horseshoe sizes and materials for consistent, stable shaping.

Portability & Adjustable Height

Detachable legs make the Stable Jack easy to transport in a 6 x 6 x 24” case. The height is adjustable between 23” and 29” for customizable setup based on user preference.

 Vibration Dampening Legs

The hollow lower legs are filled with a patented vibration-dampening material that absorbs shock and resonance, channeling the energy of each hammer blow into precise and efficient workpiece recontouring.

Pinpoint Accuracy with Cradling Grooves

Integrated cradling grooves allow for precise horseshoe placement and subtle adjustments, eliminating the need for heat in many shaping tasks, a feature not available in traditional methods.

Reduced Shock & Vibration

The Stable Jack’s low-rebound, low-vibration design reduces shock transmission to the user, minimizing fatigue and strain during long-term use.
